Sam brings 12+ years of diverse communications experience to help clients impact change. He’s worked in the agency world, at nonprofits and even freelanced. With a background in both communications and science, Sam knows the value in shaping complex information to translate to key audiences. He excels in identifying the uniqueness of each client to help tell their stories.
His role at SideCar primarily includes:
- Managing accounts to develop integrated communications strategies that support results-focused client success.
- Creating impactful content such as key messages, talking points, press releases, bylined articles, marketing collateral, bios, social media copy, website content, awards, blog posts and more.
- Developing community outreach strategies and relationships.
- Aligning client goals, priorities and voice to drive holistic outcomes.
Sam holds a bachelor’s degree in both journalism and zoology, as well as a master’s degree in environmental communications from Miami University of Ohio. He is a Midwest transplant that now calls Denver home. Sam is a self-proclaimed “nature geek” who spends his free time volunteering at Denver Zoo and exploring the Colorado outdoors with his wife and two bird dogs.
