Britt brings nearly a decade of strategic communications, public relations, and executive positioning experience to SideCar clients. Paired with a background in urban place management, Britt has a multi-faceted understanding of city building and deep a passion for telling the stories of great places and spaces.
Britt’s role at SideCar primarily includes:
- Collaborating with clients to develop comprehensive, results-focused communication strategies.
- Working closely with media partners to secure positive coverage and identifying opportunities for enhanced client visibility.
- Writing and editing engaging content, including key messages, talking points, press releases, bylined articles, marketing collateral, websites, bios, social media content, awards, blog posts and more.
Before stepping into her role at SideCar, Britt spent nine years in the place-based economic development industry. In addition to leading public relations and strategic communications work, Britt worked closely with both the public and private sectors to build vibrant, economically strong urban centers through public policy, strategic initiatives, and community engagement.
Britt is an International Downtown Association Emerging Leader Fellow; a graduate of Impact Denver; and has been named Social Media Professional of the Year by the American Advertising Federation as well as a “Person to Watch” by Frederick Magazine. She also serves on the board of the Downtown Denver Expeditionary School and is a co-founder of Feed the Frontlines Denver.
Britt is an avid doodler, an amateur photographer, and a retired competitive jump roper. When she’s not supporting her clients at SideCar, Britt hops on airplanes at every chance to feed her love of cities and travel.
