We’re searching for an Associate with proven PR and writing skills to join our team in AUSTIN, TEXAS. We love what we do, and we want someone who is just as passionate about doing great work.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to create high-quality original content (press releases, bylined articles, website copy, pitches, award submissions, newsletters and other collateral) for a variety of clients 
  • Support several accounts at any given time and help with day-to-day client and media inquiries 
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client visibility
  • Scan for and secure client media coverage
  • Establish proficiency in client voices and tones
  • Adapt content for multiple social media channels and various audiences 
  • Develop new media relationships and media lists as necessary 
  • Coordinate thoughtful media events and conduct timely follow-up 
  • Work with excellent attention to detail, taking pride in client success 
  • Stay on top of industry trends, client competitors and related media coverage 
  • Build detailed project reports with client media coverage, social media statistics and other KPIs
  • Show up every day with professionalism and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed (humor doesn’t hurt)

Preferred Qualifications

  • One to three years of full-time PR experience (agency experience preferred) 
  • Proven track record of creatively developing content for multiple clients, programs and communication channels 
  • Near-perfect communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Serious familiarity with the AP Stylebook
  • Genuine passion for commercial real estate, development and placemaking 
  • A “can-do” and self-starting attitude, and motivation to thrive in a deadline-driven environment 
  • Ability to learn from and share with others 
  • Experience working remotely with minimal direct management
