& Approach

Cushing Terrell had operated in Denver for several years but remained relatively quiet in the market. As the firm prepared to open a new office and increase its local visibility, it turned to SideCar for our knowledge of the Denver business and media landscape, established relationships, and ability to translate a national brand into a locally relevant position.

This work began with localized messaging and platform development, clarifying how Cushing Terrell’s integrated approach to architecture, planning, engineering, and design shows up in the Front Range. From there, SideCar built a structured communications framework that connected messaging to action, aligning thought leadership, media outreach and business development priorities into a cohesive system.

Because a firm’s reputation is shaped through everyday conversations as much as formal campaigns, SideCar also developed office-wide ambassador training. We worked directly with leadership and staff to help them communicate the firm’s value confidently and consistently during networking, client meetings and industry events.

SideCar also created tailored executive positioning strategies for Denver leadership. Elevating individual experts helped build trust in the broader firm, strengthen relationships with prospective clients and partners, and give Cushing Terrell a credible voice on issues shaping the region. These efforts led to bylined articles, media engagement and targeted opportunities  tied to housing, planning and community development.

The result is a clearer, more confident presence in the Denver market that reflects the depth of Cushing Terrell’s work and the strength of its leadership.
