SideCar PR Expands Capabilities, Welcomes Two New Hires

SideCar PR recently expanded its capabilities with the hire of Britt Diehl as senior account director and Pete Burd as senior associate, multimedia.

“Britt and Pete both embody the values of SideCar and bring incredible expertise to our clients who are elevating communities across the U.S. through their work in the built environment,” said Sarah Cullen, president at SideCar PR. “Britt brings invaluable knowledge and experience to in place-based economic development, public relations and strategic communications. Pete’s attention to detail and visual storytelling ability allows our clients to reach their audiences in distinctive ways.”

With a decade of public relations and strategic communications experience, Diehl works closely with clients to develop results-focused media and communication strategies to position clients as leaders in their respective fields. Named “Social Media Professional of the Year” by the American Advertising Federation and “Person to Watch” by Frederick Magazine, Diehl is passionate about the storytelling of great places and spaces that lead to prosperous and diverse cities.

Prior to joining SideCar, Diehl worked with the Downtown Denver Partnership, bringing the public and private sectors together to build a vibrant, economically strong urban center through public policy, strategic initiatives and community engagement. She is heavily involved in the Denver community, from serving on the board of the Downtown Denver Expeditionary School to co-founding of Feed the Frontlines Denver.

With more than 15 years of experience in producing content, including for commercial and residential real estate and placemaking clients, Burd develops multimedia strategies that enhance the visual and storytelling needs of our clients. His portfolio includes video production, photography, 3D imaging and drone imagery.

Burd previously worked for 9NEWS, Denver7 and several key media outlets as a video journalist, serving audiences locally and nationwide. As a visual journalist, Burd was nominated for three Emmys and believes that everyone has a story worth telling, and that together, these stories create the fabric of humanity.
