Lauren Rapp

Communications Director

With a background in strategic communications and marketing, Lauren brings more than a decade of experience leading integrated teams and delivering impactful campaigns across the Colorado Front Range. She combines a passion for placemaking and storytelling with a strategic lens on how thoughtful communication and collaboration drive a community’s economic and cultural impact. As Communications Director, Lauren works with the SideCar team to develop and execute communications strategies that are both creative and results-driven.

Lauren’s role at SideCar primarily includes:
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive communications strategies that align client goals with measurable outcomes.
  • Managing cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration, clear communication, and on-time delivery of high-quality work.
  • Overseeing project management and workflow processes to maintain efficiency, accountability, and excellence across SideCar’s roster of clients.
  • Supporting business development through proposal strategy, content development, and client onboarding to drive continued growth and partnership success.

 
Prior to joining SideCar, Lauren served as Senior Director of Projects at Two Parts, a creative marketing agency specializing in brand development, content strategy, and experiential marketing. Her experience also includes leading in-house marketing and communications for a Denver-based restaurant group and serving as the founding editor of Eater Denver, part of Vox Media’s national network of restaurant news sites. Lauren is a graduate of the University of Kansas with bachelor’s degrees in journalism and English and holds a certificate in Professional Culinary Arts from the International Culinary Center in New York City. Outside of work, she enjoys live music, cooking, group fitness, and hosting gatherings. She lives in Arvada with her husband, son, and their rescue chiweenie.
